Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar storage technologies used on Sitein72. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and other browser storage used to remember preferences or maintain a secure session.
2. Essential Sitein72 session cookie
When a user signs in, Sitein72 uses the sitein72_session cookie to maintain the authenticated portal session. It is configured as an HTTP-only cookie so normal browser scripts cannot read it. In production it is also configured as secure and uses SameSite protections. This cookie is necessary for account and portal functionality.
3. Cookie-consent preference
Sitein72 stores the user's analytics choice in browser local storage under sitein72-consent. This record indicates whether essential-only or optional analytics use was selected and stores the date of that choice. It is used to remember the preference and prevent optional analytics from loading before permission where consent is required.
4. Optional Google Analytics
If Google Analytics is enabled by Sitein72 and you choose to allow analytics, Google Analytics scripts may load and set analytics cookies such as _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie. These help measure aggregate website usage and performance. Sitein72 configures analytics to load only after the relevant analytics choice in the Sitein72 consent interface.
5. Stripe checkout
When you continue to Stripe's secure checkout or billing portal, Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies on Stripe-controlled pages for payment processing, fraud prevention, authentication and security. Those technologies are governed by Stripe's own policies for the Stripe service.
6. Hostinger and infrastructure
Infrastructure providers may process technical request information necessary to deliver and secure the website. Sitein72 does not intentionally use infrastructure cookies for advertising.
7. Essential vs optional technologies
| Technology | Purpose | Choice |
|---|---|---|
sitein72_session | Authentication and secure client/admin session continuity. | Essential for signed-in portal use. |
sitein72-consent local storage | Stores your cookie/analytics preference. | Necessary to remember your choice. |
| Google Analytics cookies, if enabled | Optional usage analytics. | Loaded only after analytics acceptance where configured. |
| Stripe technologies on Stripe pages | Checkout, billing, authentication, fraud prevention and security. | Applied when you use Stripe-controlled payment pages. |
8. Changing your choice
Use the Cookie settings control in the Sitein72 footer to reopen the Sitein72 consent choices. Choosing “Essential only” keeps optional Sitein72 analytics disabled for future page loads.
9. Browser controls
You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser. Removing the session cookie signs you out. Removing the consent preference causes the Sitein72 cookie-choice interface to appear again.
10. Changes
This policy will be updated if Sitein72 enables additional analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking technology. The production implementation should always match the technologies described on this page.
